As people, we don’t want to upset our loved ones by asking difficult questions. Here is the opportunity for a child or teen to ask those difficult questions in a supportive and caring environment.
Serious Illness Counselling
Children that experience a parent or close family member who are seriously ill, need emotional support to help them cope. They also have many questions about the diagnosis and treatment of their loved one. I have personal experience that I share with children and teens during this very stressful time. As people, we don’t want to upset our loved ones by asking difficult questions. Sometimes we stop talking and the result is we feel alone and scared. My goal is to allow the opportunity for a child or teen to ask those difficult questions in a supportive and caring environment.
